The procedure requires that the teeth be healthy and strong. Dr. Luther sometimes improves your smile by removing only millimeters of tooth enamel. It’s very simple and quick, but it could make a world of difference!

Gum recontouring, also call a gingivectomy, can help the overall appearance of your smile. Even though your teeth may appear white, straight and symmetric, your supporting gum tissue may appear unbalanced, or even too “gummy”, which in turn, may create an adverse effect on the appearance of your teeth and smile. It’s a procedure in which Dr. Luther removes small amounts of marginal gum tissue to sculpt it into a desired shape and symmetry.
