Oral Probiotic…What It Is And Why It’s Good

A healthy body begins with a healthy mouth.

And there’s a new product on the market that can help.  Its called Evora Plus…an Oral Probiotic.  This one-of-a-kind probiotic mint naturally supports gum and tooth health while freshening breath and whitening teeth.

Studies have shown that by taking this oral probiotic, you can help prevent perio disease and cavities, both of which are caused by problematic, harmful bacteria.

The premise being the oral probiotic replaces “bad” bacteria in your mouth with “good” bacteria, thus not allowing the “bad” bacteria to proliferate and cause problems.  With  over 800 species of bacteria found in the periodontal pockets in the mouth, its imperative that the “bad” bacteria not get out of hand.  Things like diet, stress, medications and illness, among other things, can play a big part in allowing the unfavorable “bad” bacteria to over-power the beneficial bacteria.

In the oral cavity, harmful bacteria convert sugar and carbohydrates into lactic acid.  This is the bacterial byproduct that is responsible for dental caries (cavities) and erosion of healthy tooth enamel.  If harmful, disease-causing bacteria are allowed to florish in the periodontal pocket, the result is advanced periodontal disease.

This oral probiotic is safe for diabetics and patients receiving chemotherapy; there are no known contra-indications.

Where can you get Evora-Plus Oral Probiotic?  It is an over-the-counter product that can be found at Walmart.  Other pharmacies may carry it as well.  A month supply costs about $15.
