Smooth and Stain-Resistant

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to teeth to improve their appearance. At our dental office in Appleton, WI, we use porcelain veneers to mask teeth that are damaged, fractured, worn, discolored, or crooked. Veneers mimic the translucent surface of a natural tooth, making them very life-like. Since porcelain is a ceramic, its surface is smooth and does not permanently stain.

Look At That Smile!

Porcelain veneers can cover or repair minor tooth damage or defects. Veneers can make stained, discolored, chipped, misshapen, or crooked teeth look more attractive. They can also cover existing fillings that have become stained or discolored. As an alternative to orthodontic procedures, porcelain veneers can also be used to “fill in” gaps between teeth. Deep tetracycline stains can be removed from a smile with this procedure.

“I avoided the dentist for so long because something about the dentist scared the hell out of me. I initially needed to be sedated with a pill, take the laughing gas, the ‘works,’ when treatment was recommended. But because Dr. Luther explains everything in great detail and makes you understand everything before anything is done, he puts you at ease, and treatment is a ‘piece of cake.’ Now, I don’t require any sedation, and I can get a good night sleep the night before my appointment because I know my appointment will go smoothly. Dr. Luther does a great job.”
